CIRCA 1913 CHRYSTAL KNOB / JAPANNED MORTISE LOCK SET w/KEY - AWESOME (41201). Nice set of Japanned plates and large crystal knobs that are each dated April 22nd, 1913. The set also includes a mortise lock and a key and a Japanned strike plate. The mortise lock has a 5 1/2 Japanned face.

Screws are on 4 1/2 centers. The back set (the distance from the center of the knob post hole to the edge of the mortise lock faceplate) is 2 1/2. The drop (the distance from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the round portion of the key hole) is 2 1/4. The mortise box measures 3 5/8" high and 3 1/4" deep from the front edge of the faceplate to the back of the box.

Original Japanned finish, still has a nice patina, fully cleaned, restored and ready for your project. Would give a nice period look to any door!
